Your NRA Training Counselor
Instructor Martin:
When you step onto the range or into the classroom with me, you’re not just attending a course — you are training under real-world leadership, operational experience, and mission-driven instruction.
I bring over 30 years of service in criminal justice and public safety, forged through military service, law enforcement, and decades of instructor leadership. I am a former U.S. Marine (Infantry & Embassy Duty), Police Academy Graduate, Advanced Patrol Officer, and former Police Officer with extensive street-level experience in patrol operations, arrests, vehicle stops, investigations, narcotics enforcement, and officer-safety tactics.
I’ve lived the job.
I understand the consequences.
And I teach accordingly.
As a NRA Training Counselor, POST-certified Firearms Instructor, and State-approved CCW and BSIS Instructor, I have trained and certified hundreds of civilians, security professionals, and public-safety personnel. My focus is not just compliance — it is competence, confidence, and readiness under pressure.
I previously served as Director of a college-level Criminal Justice Program, mentoring and preparing hundreds of students for careers in law enforcement, security, corrections, and public safety. My instructional methodology blends discipline, clarity, biomechanics, and accountability, breaking complex skills into repeatable, pressure-tested systems that perform in the real world — not just on paper or static firing lines.
My instruction emphasizes decision-making, safety, accountability, and performance, ensuring students leave not only certified — but capable.
